"Hotel was clean and nice. Walkable to many things to see and do. The room was good but just like all other reviews its a little loud since the building is from the 1800's the walls are paper thin. The AC didn't turn on but luckily it was nice and cool outside so we just open the windows but it was loud outside so little sleep. The breakfast was just okay. Staff very nice and helpful."

"From the start, the staff was very welcoming. Tatzio at the front desk, was friendly, informative and welcoming. The crew that set morning breakfast, do an excellent job, are very friendly and super hard working. The people who work the bar, also keep things going. The ladies that do house keeping, work hard at keeping rooms made up! The entire crew that we saw, worked very hard to make sure the guests had a positive experience. The hotel itself was clean, and very well kept. It’s in a quiet place and within walking distance to almost everything. Thanks to all the staff for a great stay! We’re already planning on going back! "The location is fabulous, at the top of the Spanish Steps. The hotel is solid with a lot of quirky character due to its age. We stayed in the adjacent building. The room was very clean; the bathroom typical of Italy: small with a sink, toilet & bidet and a small corner shower and heated towel rack. The room heater worked well and there was a huge window opening to the busy steeet below although it was so high we couldn’t see out. Buffet breakfast was included and was plentiful and tasty with lots of choices. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The one complaint is the hotel restaurant. Prices were high (8€ beer, 12€ glass of ordinary wine, 6€ tea) compared to other cafes & restaurants in Italy. And something we’ve never encountered in Italy was the demand for a tip by the waiter. He said if we wanted to pay by credit card we must include a tip. We watched his interaction with other patrons and his less-than friendly attitude was enough to turn away future patrons. Despite the restaurant experience we would definitely stay here again. "

"Breakfast was excellent! Staff was top-notch. We were there in March but it was already warm. Unfortunately, the A/C wasn’t on yet, so it was a bit warm but we made it work opening the windows although that let in some noise. "

"They’re still using the heater as it’s on month of March. It’s a little warm at daytime so you just need to open the windows. The shops, restaurants and everything is just around you. Very convenient."

"Small room but a fantastic location. We didn’t expect to have a massive suite since we were only planning on using the hotel to sleep there, every other minute was spent exploring the city. Incredibly clean, breakfast was great, and the staff is lovely. "
