"This was a resort property that had a restaurant /dining room that had awesome food and reasonable prices. It was quite convenient. The maintenance office was very responsive to a problem we had initially with the AC. Laurie (Lorrie?) was super helpful. The unit we rented (312) had an underground garage parking spot right next to the elevator. Also very convenient. The unit itself had every amenity you could want including a full Xfinity TV cable lineup. The report also has an executive golf...

"The man at the front was rude to us from the start. Once we got into our room it was nasty the mattress was brown and lumpy. The room was not cleaned there was hair on the bathroom floor and it smelled very musty. We decided to leave because we didn’t feel comfortable sleeping here and the front guy made it very clear we were unable to get a refund. Overall bad experience. "

Where to stay in Santa Fe

Find the best Santa Fe areas and neighborhoods for the activities you enjoy most.

Downtown Santa Fe

The adobe-lined streets of Downtown Santa Fe weave together centuries of Native, Spanish, and Anglo history. Visitors can browse authentic crafts sold by Native artisans under the Palace of the Governors portals. The historic Plaza serves as the heart of this cultural district where museums, galleries, and the mysterious Loretto Chapel draw art lovers. Canyon Road galleries showcase regional masterworks while the aroma of green chile fills the air. Most attractions sit within a 4-block radius, making exploration on foot ideal. The unified earth-toned architecture creates a timeless atmosphere where traditional festivals still bring the community together.

Railyard Arts District

The Railyard Arts District breathes new life into Santa Fe's historic railway hub. Art galleries fill converted warehouses while the Saturday Farmers Market brings local flavors and handmade crafts to this creative enclave. Contemporary meets tradition in spaces like SITE Santa Fe and TAI Modern. Stroll through outdoor sculpture gardens and watch artists at work in open studios. The Violet Crown Cinema and farm-to-table restaurants make this walkable neighborhood perfect for day-to-evening exploration. Wide pedestrian plazas and desert landscaping create an atmosphere that feels distinctly Santa Fe.

South Capitol

South Capitol is a charming historic district where traditional adobe buildings and tree-lined streets create a peaceful retreat. Visitors can experience local Santa Fe living while staying just minutes from downtown attractions. This residential neighborhood offers a glimpse into the city's unique architectural heritage. Walk to the Center for Contemporary Arts or explore the New Mexico Military Museum during your stay. The Santa Fe Children's Museum makes this area perfect for families. The neighborhood's quiet character and authentic adobe homes provide a true taste of Santa Fe culture without the downtown crowds.

High-end boutiques and upscale dining options cater to sophisticated tastes. Most attractions are within walking distance despite the occasionally uneven brick sidewalks.

Guadalupe District

Santa Fe's Guadalupe District blends Hispanic heritage with artistic flair. This cultural enclave features traditional adobe architecture alongside the historic Santuario de Guadalupe church with its weathered wooden doors. Narrow streets lead to the vibrant Santa Fe Railyard where weekend farmers markets fill the air with chile scents. Art lovers will discover galleries showcasing both Native pottery and contemporary Southwestern works. "I was in town for the burning of Zozobra, so it was only for one night. I was a little leery about the stay because there were mixed reviews but it was one of the only hotels that had rooms available for the date I was going to be there. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the stay. The check in was quick and easy, the hotel restaurant had a great menu to choose from to grab a bit before we left to the event. The hotel provided a free shuttle to downtown plaza, from there we walked the short distance to the event. The area where the hotel is located was quiet and safe. The room was clean. We did not have breakfast at hotel, because we chose to eat at the downtown plaza. Overall, it exceeded my expectations."

"This is a very nice hotel. The room, pool, and all other areas were clean and well maintained. The location near the plaza was perfect. It is walkable to all areas of the city. The food at the poolside bar could be better… not much to choose from and I would prefer some healthier options. Overall, my stay was great."

Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe

Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe

10/10 Excellent
"Great facility. Amazing staff. Perfect location. The sunset from the rooftop pool is a sight that will stay with me forever. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly, courteous and willing to go out of their way to be helpful. Complementary breakfast and dinner buffets were very good and 3 complementary cocktails that I could take up to enjoy by the pool. I was able to leave my car conveniently parked at the facility for several hours after checkout while we explored many of the sights and shops around the plaza. Staff recommended the best restaurants in the area. Several were within a few minutes walk from the hotel. I can't imagine I will ever stay anywhere else when I visit Santa Fe in the future. One very good waitress/bartender at the rooftop bar told me she has worked several places but she loves working there because of the staff and management care so much about making all the guests get the most from their experience in Santa Fe. She said "people work hard for their money and we should feel honored that they chose to come here over the hundred of other places around and spend it here with us." I feel like that was the attitude of every staff person we met."
