"My friend who was going to host me in his home got sick so I unexpectedly needed an affordable place on short notice for a 1-night stay at 11 pm following a Santa Fe skywatching event. Coyote South was perfect for the occasion. A kind desk person received me even so late at night, I found a much-needed glass of fresh cool water in the lobby, the room had a comfy king bed (soo grateful for fresh, soft sheets without a strong detergent smell), a nice shower, a great in-room coffee maker (tip: better coffee in the room than in the breakfast room - or at least my European friends would think so), a small freezer above the fridge, and there were some nice juniper bushes out my window instead of a barren parking lot. Just what I needed...unpretentious, economical comfort. I will for sure be back again when needing an affordable but comfortable stay in Santa Fe. Oh did I mention the supercool starry mural in the lobby? Loved it! But I may be a bit biased given my love for the stars."

"The location is fabulous near the churchs, plaza, stores and restaurants. The room and public areas were clean and cozy. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. I watched interactions from management and their staff and saw so much respect for everyone. I spoke with several staff people who stated they loved working for this hotel which tells me a lot about their thoughts and respect for people including their guests. The breakfast was a buffet of great food. The evening gave guests 2 adult drinks and what they called "snacks" which really was a meal so I eneded up only having to purchase one meal or snack per day which saved a lot of money. I live about 5 hours from Santa Fe and go there 3 or 4 times a year and I will be returning to this hotel every time in the future for sure!!!!"
