"Good location and comfortable rooms. Not too spacious and a little dated - but it’s an older hotel, so expectations managed. Beds firm, but actually very good. Helpful staff, including getting you to the airport early. Front desk is 24/7 so when you have an early start for Tikal, it’s nota problem and the will provide you a packed breakfast of fruit and banana bread, plus water. Good breakfast as well, if you are around for it. Don’t forget the rod garden too, with views to the east of the lake"

"Everything was good except my experiences with the restaurants. The one top, the staff were just talking with each other and they didn’t attend to me so I left after 10 minutes. I could understand if they were busy, but they were not. The restaurant below, I didn’t like the food. I tried twice and no I didn’t like it—my opinion only. Everything else was great. I hope the this was constructive. I took a picture of the staff persons standing around if you want me to send to you. "

"The grounds are beautiful and location very convenient for Tikal and some shopping. The staff is very helpful, especially the wait staff. They were most pleasant and friendly. My 8 year old granddaughter played in the pool, played giant checkers and learned to play pool. We were able to get adjoining rooms which enhanced our family vacation. "
