"Overall a good hotel! We wanted a hotel in Trastevere so we could be near the nightlife and this hotel met our needs! Our hotel room was huge! We could have fit two more people in it! The breakfast was very good, with many options including eggs. The daily room service was good, they cleaned up the room nicely each day with no issues. Its about a 15-18 minute walk from all the nightlife which isnt terrible. It is quite a hike from all the tourist sites like the Vatican and Colosseum though, we ended up having to cab to both and it was about 25-28 euros each time which was very expensive for traveling a couple miles. Overall, i think next time we would stay closer to the main attractions and just walk over at night, but i will say the hotel was very nice. They even gave us a box breakfast to go because we had to leave very early to the airport on our last day. Good 4 star hotel in a locals neighborhood."

"The hotel is in a great location, close to many sites. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Yassi. The rooftop bar was a hit for our family to gather each evening to review the highlights of the day. Beds were very comfortable. Would book this hotel again."

"Small but beautiful room with a view of the closest cathedral. The staff was professional and respectful. The breakfast was abundant and had a variety of choices including egg dishes. The rooftop bar was also beautiful. I would say the accommodations are under advertised on this site."

"Donna Camilla Savelli is one of the most special hotels in Rome. The staff are truly wonderful — warm, gracious, and always attentive. The food is outstanding, and every meal feels thoughtfully prepared. The location in the heart of Trastevere is perfect, surrounded by great restaurants and charming streets that make every walk feel like stepping back in time. The property itself is breathtaking, with that beautiful antique atmosphere I love, and the functioning church inside the hotel makes the experience even more unique and meaningful. My room was excellent, with all amenities available and beautifully maintained. I truly will be back. this hotel remains one of my favorite places in Rome."

I really like that it is a true suite where we can cook ourselves, do the laundry, and have a plent of space to enjoy time with the family when rest. "Enjoyed our stay, while it’s a little out of the way from the centre of the city, it’s in a quieter part, and easily accessible to transit. The self check in is fairly easy, the app is fairly easy to use. Only hiccup is we didn’t realize breakfast wasn’t included, for €30 for 2 people, it should be a little better. The value for the room is good, the size is bigger than some of the older hotels in the city and more modern. The staff inside was helpful with getting us a taxi to the airport, they made us feel welcome on our visit. I’d recommend this place if you like a quieter area in the evening, less hectic start to your day."

"The view of ruins and the city is great! The location of this hotel is great. Very central to historical sites. While this is not a 5 star type of hotel, the staff is always helpful and quick to respond. I would classify this as a 3.5 star property with nearly 5 star service and a 5 star view. The breakfast and coffee was great every morning. We upgraded to a suite with a terrace which made for a very special stay. The price was fair for what we received. I recommend this hotel."
