"Lovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals.This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. Check-in at the bar was easy. The service was very friendly and excellent throughout. A well stocked bar, including a local beer, 'Gem' by name and 'Gem' by nature. "I booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel....
"Clean room comfortable bed and good breakfast with plenty of choice. The staff were all welcoming and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again"
"We stopped here for a Spitfires game for our young fella and to be honest wasn’t expecting much - but we were incredibly pleasantly surprised!! This place is exceptional, easy to find, easy to access and staff instructions were friendly and easy to follow. This is a great stay! "
"The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. They provided us with a cooked breakfast as well as a selection of cereals.
Shenandoah House about 5 minutes walk from the beach and is close to local shops, restaurants and cafes. It is also within walking distance to the Turner Gallery and Dreamland.
Our stay was very pleasant and I would definitely return.

Very welcoming and helpful staff, generous (complimentary bottled water and toiletries), tasty breakfast. Parking was easy with their anpr voucher system.
