"I’ve stayed in a lot of rental properties over the years and this one left me breathless. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s meticulously clean. The location is within perfect proximity to Lexington. We drove into town all but one day to get our morning coffee and the ride was only 5 mins. The view is unbeatable. The yard and outdoor space is beautiful. Our dog LOVED being able to run around and even got to make friends with the local celebrity - George the cat. The home itself is tiny as listed, but has everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. I’m a heavy set lady and had zero issues with the bathroom size or stairs down to beach (both of which I was a little nervous about). Doreen and Rick were perfect hosts. We knew they were there if we needed anything but otherwise let us enjoy a relaxing long weekend with our pup in solitude. It’s such a short trip from Metro Detroit, but we truly felt as though we were worlds away. We can’t wait to return and visit the house (and George) again! "

"We had a lovely stay at this lake house in Lexington! It had everything that our family needed. Views of the lake and lounging on the deck during our baby's nap time were an amazing perk!! We loved getting to splash in the lake as well. Highly recommend water shoes/teva sandals to protect your feet. There is another deck down by the lake which was such a nice touch as well! We can't wait to book our next stay. "

"Super nice owner, great communication, location is great and close to downtown Port Sanilac, perfect for our weekend gataway! Furnished with everything you need and super cute decoration! No washer and dryer but they supply enough towles,wash clothes and bedding that you dont need one! Super fun working arcade , big yard if you have pets too! Id stay again for sure ! "

"This is the second time we have stayed at this location. The view is fabulous. Not only do you get to stare out at the lake but freighters are constantly passing by. If you are a rock hound you will enjoy walking the beach and finding numerous stones. The property manager George is very attentive and responds to question immediately."

We got such great communication in advance of things that we’re going to be happening in the area. They checked in on us to see if everything was fine, and it was. "George is excellent at communicating , quick response! Love the location, very private, plenty of space in the house for just two of us and dogs ! Back yard can use some attention. It was fine with us since we spent most of the time by the beach. Dogs had a blast swimming in the lake !! "
