"My husband and I had never been to the thumb region of Michigan and decided to spend a long weekend exploring. We chose to stay in this really delightful house in Port Sanilac, and it was great! The property is attractive, comfortable, and right on Lake Huron, and we walked to shops, restaurants, the harbor, and the farmers' market. Excellent experience all around and we highly recommend it!"

"The house is a nice house with a very comfy couch in a great neighborhood close to everything! The issues we encountered were the side walk from the drive to the front porch has many trip hazards and is broken up, the wood front porch was slippery when rained on, we found a few ants wandering around inside the house and check out time would be nice to at 11 instead of 10 because we feel rushed with the check out process. We would definitely stay here again and enjoyed our stay!"

"I rented this beautiful home for my wedding weekend, as our venue was close to the home, my guest and I had a great time here, the animals were great we really enjoyed them and I think they enjoyed all the pets we gave them , mourine was lovely and super helpful, it truly was just awesome, comfy beds pleanty of room, everything you need for a relaxing stay , just what we needed , thank you mourine for a great stay."

"We had an awesome time. We ordered pizza from Sweetwater and enjoyed it on the patio overlooking the water …what a view! We also had Joyce come out and teach us a craft which was very fun. Saturday for lunch was chicken from Jeff’s delicious. Over all all 9 of us enjoyed our stay and loved the place."

"The Getaway is conveniently located within walking distance to town where we enjoyed restaurants, a farmers market, shopping, a coffee shop and a concert at the theater! Having Lake Huron as a backdrop adds to the up north experience. Walking out on the pier is always a nice experience. Our accommodations were very well suited for our girls weekend! We did find ourselves looking to see our outfits in a full length mirror while getting ready for a concert ....so we bought one as a gift to all...

"We had a great time at this property. Very close to town. We got to walk to everything. Lots of space for all of us to congregate and to sleep. The only sad thing was the propane was out of the fire pit so we couldn’t have a fire."

"The house was clean and comfortable. It accommodated us quite nicely. The outside deck and yard area were very enjoyable. Walking to the beach, park, farmers market, Village Pub, Fresco Mexicano, Jeff's Market, Mama's eatery and downtown shopping was a treat."
