"Beautiful hotel in perfect location. Room had no aircon and it was a hot day, but beds comfortable and room very nice. Breakfast nice but perhaps 2 staff needed to keep up with the busy customers. Walking stand l to the castle and town square, so pretty!! Would stay again. "

"We booked plus rooms and got spacious, quiet, clean rooms facing the courtyard. The staff were friendly and efficient. We had an excellent cocktail from the bar. On behalf of the many comments on the breakfast in other reviews, we skipped it. Coffee in the room was good."

"What a charming hotel! I wasn’t sure what to Expect but not only was the hotel lovely, the staff was the kindest and most accommodating I have ever experienced! "Amazing!! It’s right at the top of funicular train from town, so easy to get to town or back from town. Plenty of parking if you drive and amazing, truly amazing views!! The hiking is top notch down to the Castle, recommend the funicular back up. Rooms are gorgeous, clean, simple, with warm and cozy bedding and towels. Hit the sauna for a very warm warm up. "

"This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The rooms may not have the most modern amenities but they are comfortable and the view from my window was unbeatable. The service at the front desk was attentive and informative. Note that the hotel faces a very popular street and it can be loud with people until very late at night and again in the morning during trash pick up. The windows block most of the sound, but I prefer to have the fresh air with windows open. The one downside was the breakfast. Expedia said it would be free, but I was charged for it. Breakfast began at 8:00am, but when I went down at 8:30am the eggs were cold. The egs were also flavored like the bacon which is troubling when you are someone who does not eat pork. Go for the fantastic location and service. Don't go for the food. Americans should note that the hotel is not air conditioned. "

Great Property, good location.

"Although we only stayed overnight, the hotel was both convenient and comfortable, with a professional and pleasant staff, excellent parking and an overall comfortable feel. The room looked brand new, as did the rest of the property. The location was wonderful, easily accessible by car and only a few tram stops from old town. We would definitely stay here again."
