"We had a family event in AL and decided to stay at this small, cute cabin to break up the drive. During our stay, we saw a couple of deer, and a couple of meteors and milky way on the first night. SE, above, and partial W view of the sky. NE view from entrance of driveway. Trees on horizon, We visited Desota falls, a canyon, and a restaurant nearby. Space to back up to turn around to get out of driveway."

Country Cabin is down home southern! Simple, clean, and Relaxing!

"This was a very nice stay. The front desk attendant was very nice. The room was excellent, seemed very clean. Our only complaint was the air conditioning in the bedroom was not working well. We turned the air in the living area down and it kept the bedroom cool. Would stay here again if in the area."

"Our stay at the Big Lake House couldn’t have any more amazing! The hosts literally thought of everything when preparing this property for guests. There were 27 of us, aging from two weeks old to 79. We explored every amenity the house had to offer and there was never a dull moment! We cooked many big meals, and the kitchen is so well appointed that we lacked for nothing! One particularly impressive thing about this property is how accessible it is for someone with a disability. One of our guests uses a scooter and/or a walker to get around. He was able to go everywhere on the main level. Thanks to the ramps on the outside of the house and the sidewalk down to the dock, he was able to use the pool and access the beach and dock. Bravo to the hosts for offering such an amazing home for our family reunion!"

"We were in awe of the property upon driving in. The geese were doing geese things on the water and the fish were jumping. Kids were ready wet a hook at that point. The kayaks were a great bonus to the trip. The residence was very clean and spacious inside. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. We are already looking to book another trip for the fall. The only thing I would suggest is bring you a light if you enjoy night fishing."
