"The hosts Barbara & Steven were very helpful. The cottage was spotless & well equipped. The location was excellent. It was close to downtown Beaufort, Port Royal & Habersham where there are great restaurants. The cottage is also located very close to Whitehall Park where we walked everyday. It is also close to Cyprus Wetlands where there are hundreds of birds. This place was amazing.Highly recommend this cottage. You won’t be disappointed."

"Our family had a great time at this home! The home has everything you need. The beds, bedding, and pillows were the best I've ever slept on at a VRBO. The house is also steps away from the rookery and we were able to hear the birds and walk to see them every morning and evening. We also really appreciated the state park pass and were able to go to Hunting Island and Hilton Head. Our family will definitely be looking to rent this home again for future trips!"

"My wife & I (both retired) booked the Little Sandpiper because it was in Port Royal neighborhood (just off main Paris Ave that south toward the Sands little beach), which is somewhat near where our daughter’s family lives. We were a little apprehensive because there weren’t many reviews on VRBO (perhaps it was rented through another service until recently), and because of clearly stated fact that the rental did not include the front door entry & living room; we never heard a sound from that part of the house). So the rental consisted of a long gravel driveway with plenty of room for our car and our daughter’s when visiting with our grandchildren, a cute little backyard with firepit (we didn’t use), a screened back porch with chairs as entry door, keypad entry into kitchen (well-stocked, with little table & two chairs & stool, and very clean large refrigerator), then hallway to main bedroom (with comfortable King bed and two closets and Roku TV we could use our own app logins), then bathroom (with large walk-in shower, and a small second bedroom which we barely used as a “den” with our grandchildren for a few hours (has a day bed and recliner chair and another older less intuitive TV).The house was older and a cool kind of funky, but fine for us and host Maddie was great and very responsive. Neighborhood is great with restaurants, Maynard’s ice cream & Shellring Brewery walking distance. Window air conditioners kept house cool. We’d stay again for sure!"

"Relaxing getaway. We just stayed in the whole time. Watched the boats and thr clousds roll by. Lovely place and only 7 mins away from The Sands beach. 10/10 recommend "

"The check-in was seamless and the hotel accommodations were good. We were able to do an early check-in as well. However the first room we were given was not suitable for us because it smelled of smoke, but I was able to get our room changed and it smelled better. Although the floor was dirty and needed mopping, we had returned after the cleaning staff was gone, so I dealt with it. Overall, the stay was good and the beds were clean. I and my husband slept well. Thanks for accommodating us."
