"The original booking was for Tierra Roja, but the hotel was in a bad section of town and down very muddy roads. The hotel manager sent us to another hotel they managed, but didn’t adjust the price until we noticed that it was listed for quite a bit less on hotels.com. They agreed to a partial refund and we thought everything was fine. We were the only ones staying there and the lady who took care of the hotel left early. Just before midnight someone tried to break into our room. We scared them away and called the manager who was in another town didn’t answer right away. She sent the police, but the culprit had escaped. We tried communicating with the manager by phone and messaging, but she never responded so we spent a sleepless night worrying if they would return, locked in our room. The manager never answered our calls and we left early the next morning."

"This is a great hotel. Love the decor. The staff were exceptional. It's in a great location. It was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was very good, a nice variety. The room was extremely clean and again the decor was the best. Great size bathroom with hot water, very good water pressure. The bed was very comfortable. Only negative maybe get more comfortable pillows. Amazing views from the roof. But overall this is a great place today. I would definitely stay there again. "

"I am so thankful someone recommended staying in Giron since it was closer to the airport. The taxi very quickly took us to the hotel and we were greeted right away. The location is fantastic and Giron is a cute little town with a lively square. We were there on a weekend so families were all together eating food from the vendors. The hotel is clean and the breakfast was great. Would highly recommend. "

At night its very quiet and I always sleep right through the night. The staff are excellent. The kitchen staff and breakfast PERFECT. Great location a short walk to the center park.
