"Fantastic place to stay if you don’t mind being outside the city center. Angela the owner is a fantastic host. She happily called for dinner reservations on our velar, and even arranged for parking to minimize walking for my elderly father. This is a huge deal inside the city walls. Grazie! Perdite umide dai muri e inadeguata la stanza, la signora gerente che ci ha accolti con sgarbo e superficialità, oltre a richiedere il rimborso abbiamo richiesto un voucher ad expedia per poter rimediare a questo spiacevole inconveniente con sue bambine a bordo. "We arrived early and could check in. Used pool and jacuzzi overlooking Perugia. Lovely and relaxing at the end of the trip. First impressions of this ancient castle did not disappoint. "The Brufani is one of the oldest hotels in Perugia. The location is very centrally located, yet up on the Hill so not too congested. My room was a bit tired looking from a design standpoint, but it was an oversized suite overlooking the entire valley below and a medieval tower just feet away. Ask for room 138. They also have a lovely outdoor terrace for the perfect place for an aperitivo. The included breakfast is wonderful and the staff fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And stay there again. Perugia is a great base to stay and do trips around the Umbrian region. Simply Stunning and less crowds than Tuscany. "
