"2nd stay, and it was enjoyable and relaxing as the 1st with only a few nitpicks. Firstly, I feel the pet fee is pricey (35$ per night? Geez). Our mattress could've been a bit firmer. And the scrambled eggs at the Continental breakfast tasted more like egg whites than yolk & white. That aside, I would stay again."

"Our trip was amazing. It was our first time to the Ava Hotel. Sean answered the phone when we called up when we were driving on our way from San Diego. He was very nice. Said he’d call when our room was ready. We got there at 2:10 and checked in. All the staff was great. We also ate at the Mediterranean place there and I am a Mediterranean food fan and it doesn’t get much better five stars."
