"This stunning villa is undoubtedly one of the top three places we've ever stayed! We absolutely loved it and wished we could have stayed longer. "We loved our stay. It was very beautiful and peaceful. The staff brought us a delicious breakfast each morning for a small charge. The only negative is not knowing in advance about the very steep and long cement path from the road to the cabin on the lake. Anyone with physical disabilities could find it impossible to manage."

"A breathtaking scenery. Beautiful home. We travelled with small children. The hike to the house was a challenge. Every time we made it to the house we felt it was worth it. Be prepared to climb quite a distance by foot on a narrow path. There is lots to do in San Marcos and the neighbouring towns of San Juan and Panajachel are a must visit. Overall a beautiful place with a beautiful view. "
