"First let me say that the property exceeded our very high expectations…. The pictures don’t do this villa justice. The Mountain View’s from the infinity pool were breathtaking. The house was so charming and historic We were able to walk up to an excellent restaurant in another historic building. As well, it was so close to Lucca and the train station. "Wow, what a stay. We stayed here as a family for a week in May and it was incredible. The views from the villa are unreal and the place itself is gorgeous. Monica is a fabulous host who cooked us a delicious meal on our first night. Her and Giovanni were so welcoming and suggested a beautiful restaurant nearby one evening and even booked it for us. We had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend."

"The spaces are great for larger groups to have space away and privacy for breaks. The pool and outdoor dining area was amazing. As expected, water pressure in these older homes can be inconsistent, but was not a problem. The home is a bit away from major highways, so day trips were a little more local driving, but didn’t limit us. Host family is nearby for support, but non intrusive and very accommodating. We had a wonderful dinner prepared our final night and everything was very hospitable."

"We rented all three houses for 12 people, which worked very well. The grounds and the area are typically Tuscan, very charming and beautiful. The propertymanager is very helpful and available. The poolarea is particularly nice and the teenagers spent all day there :-) Nearby you’ll find Lucca, winetasting, hiking and many other activities. Highly recommendable."

"The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious and we never tired of the superlative views across the valley. Diego and his dad are lovely and always available when needed. If I was to suggest an improvement, it would be a little more kitchen equipment - there was no sharp knife for cooking, no collander, few wine glasses and an oven tray that didn’t fit the oven. A small point that did not detract from a great week in a stand out property. Highly recommended!"

"A fabulous, family villa, spotlessly clean and great amenities. The garden is stunning, well manicured with beautiful views of the Tuscan hills. We had great fun in the pool, cleaned daily by the hosts. Plenty of sun loungers and great shady areas if you seek respite from the sun. "We were 7 people (5 adults and 2 teenagers) and we all had a very nice stay. The house was big and the pool was nice. The hosts were very helpful and met us at the house even though we first arrived at 20.30 after a lots of delay on the way. They also helped finding restaurants, supermarkets nearby and what to see in the area."

"Pure tranquility with the constant burble of the trout stream. The house is quite someway up a mountain, down a dirt track and in a valley - not for the faint hearted. Pool relies on sun to heat and the temperature was still quite fresh in June. Great location for access to Florence, Pisa, Chianti wine region, and host of beautiful hilltop towns and villages. "Our group included 2 couples and two 24 year old daughters and this house was perfect for us. All the bedrooms were very spacious and had their own bathroom. Beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of hangers and shelves for our clothing.
