As the hotel has no permanent receptionist you have to contact them in advance in order to get your entry code that works for the main gate and all the doors you need to open. Breakfast is very basic with tea / coffee and sugary things and you will have to travel around for a decent restaurant. Parking is next to the hotel. Many attractions in your driving range. "

"There are a couple of areas where this property falls short. Firstly it advertises parking but there is no parking, you are taking your chances on a very busy downtown street. You get charged another 10 euro a day if you dare to use the air conditioning and it must be in cash. Half a small pottle of yogurt each for breakfast is a touch inadequate. However the rooms are clean, tiny but clean. "

"When we arrived we were shown a room about 20 sq m. We had reserved an apartment room 55 sq m, with full kitchen. After showing them my reservation I was told the room wasn't available because they were under reservation. The whole front of the building is scaffolded and looks like it has been like this fir awhile. We had to find another place in the evening as we had food that would spoil. My advise.DO NOT STAY HERE. "

"Staff were lovely, meals were great home cooked style, the only thing would be the difficulty bringing heavy luggage to the rooms along uneven dirt paths and small shower screen so water goes everywhere, but a very picturesque and serene location ❤️"

"The place is a bit difficult to find but once you do it is great. The room is as described - clean bright and airy. The bed is super comfortable. The bathroom is probably the best and largest we have had in over 30 trips to Italy. The host suggested La Tavernetta restaurant in Martina Franca and it was outstanding."

"Martina Franca is an excellent choice as a base for visiting the key cities in Puglia. Trulli d'Autore is a great B&B just outside the city - clean, private, friendly hosts. It has parking as you will need a car to explore and a pool if you just want to relax at the B&B. Dont think you will find a better option."

"Happy blend of historic property in Centro storico, beautifully renovated with all mod cons.Hosts Sara and Francesco found us free parking a couple of minutes away and helped with luggage. Breakfast was extremely generous and first class with fresh orange juice and local produce. We loved the opportunity to taste the red wine of Puglia and the capocallo."

"The Salento Winery Lodge has so much potential but there seems to be a few teething problems with staffing, processes and infrastructure. "It was a great B&B in the middle of the Itria Valley and with fantastic facilities! The managers are lovely people and the breakfast buffet is scrumptious! Great amenities and a 5-min drive from Rocorotondo. You have stunning views over the valley from the property with trulli and the countryside. I highly recommend it! "

"Francesco and Melissa were great hosts in this stunning house. They gave us loads of information on where to go during the days and where to eat in the evenings (excellent restaurant every time). The breakfast was nice and beautifully prepared, like everything else they did (attention to detail was perfect). The room was unbelievable for the price, a huge bedroom, a bathroom bigger than my living room and a massive outside area on the roof with an outdoor shower, which we loved."

"The property is horrible. You can hear every conversation outside of your room. The host even started vacuuming the other room so early in the morning. It feels like you are staying at someone’s house and not an Expedia accommodation. The bathroom window is also set up so poorly that you can accidentally hit your head. "
