"I would not stay here if I rebooked this vacation. Negative: The apartment was clean enough but didn’t feel professionally cleaned. The finishes in the unit were low quality. The bells from a nearby church were very loud in the main bedroom. My biggest negative was the security. Our door didn’t have a normal lock. We only had a latch to secure our door and my wife was a little uneasy about that. Positive: Parking was included which was nice since we rented a car. The self check in process...

"The sounds of silence! After spending a week in Paris on our trip to Europe, we traveled to Lake Como to stay in this beautiful property in Dorio. The idyllic location is not only beautiful it is also quiet. If you were looking for a place with natural beauty to relax, this is the place!"

"Directions to the unit were clear, we found the property easily. The 3 km road leading to it from the main road is incredibly narrow most of the time but even with traffic it is doable. We had everything we needed for our stay, kitchen items, washer, dishwasher. Our host even provided a welcome gift of pasta and tomato sauce and a bottle of wine. Wifi was good. Communication with the host was excellent. I can highly recommend this place to anyone."

Leider war das angekündigte Wlan-Netzwerk nicht zu erreichen, was auch nach mehrfacher Nachfrage an den Vermieter über die gesamten 10 Tage unseres Aufenthalts nicht behoben wurde."

"The appartment is very spacy, clean, well equipped and also very cosy. Due to the wooden blinds and the stone floor the appart was still cool while outside temperatures of 32 degrees and hence very suitable for dogs. The garden is also very large and has a magnificent view on the lake and mountains."

"Appartment ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und die Küche vollständig. Sinnvoll ist eine Belegung bis 4, weil Schlafsofa unbequem und faktisch das ganze Hauptzimmer einnehmend. Tiefgarage und Zufahrt zu Germasino sehr eng, aber auch mit Audi A6 machbar. Mit Übung ist braucht man mit dem Auto weniger als 10min bis nach Dongo / Gravedonna ans Seeufer bzw. zu einem Supermarkt. Pool ist sehr schön. Terrasse großzügig mit einem schönen Blick auf den See."

Just instantly puts you in a good mood waking up to the breathtaking views...the pictures on the listing are accurate. "We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Fontanera. Very good communication with the host throughout the whole stay and beyond (as we forgot shoes). The house is perfectly suited for larger groups with individual bathrooms for each room. The views and garden including pool are great. Located on the hill you can choose to either walk to Gravedona (approx. 30 mins), take a bus or the car. We would definitley recommend it."

"We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the apartment as well as the location. We had our two daughters with us (19 and 25), the bedrooms were a little tight, but we understood that would be the case when we booked. The check-in process was a bit tedious (first time I've had to send pictures of the water and electric meter before and after a stay). The architecture and decor of the apartment was well thought out and probably the highlight for us. The only negative part of our stay was the bugs...
