"The "Castle" is truly beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice! The home, views, and overall setting are absolutely stunning and made for an unforgettable stay. One thing to note is that the living room and kitchen can get quite warm since there is no A/C unit in those spaces. There is, however, a wall A/C unit in the smaller room off the living area that helps. It was not a dealbreaker for us because the bedrooms stayed nice and cool. We did have a small hiccup at check-in, but Elizabeth was immediately available by phone and worked quickly to resolve the issue. One suggestion would be to send the vehicle and license plate information request a day or two before arrival. We missed the message while traveling. The oven was also not working during our stay. Fortunately, we discovered the property had both a grill and a Blackstone griddle, which worked great for our group of 11. We were able to cook larger batches of bacon and eggs. Another suggestion would be to provide a few larger pots and pans. With a large group, I found myself cooking in batches and was grateful I had brought some larger cookware from home. Overall, Jose and Elizabeth were incredible hosts. Their responsiveness, hospitality, and home made our vacation special. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house and views exceeded our expectations, and none of the minor issues would deter us from staying here again. We WILL be back!
