"This was a great place to stay. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean, ac and fan in room were great, staff is sooo helpful and nice. It was within walking distance to restaurants and shops and a small park/plaza and beach. We did taxi and bus to get around and was easy to catch from there out to wherever we wanted to go. Would definitely stay here again. "

"I truly enjoyed my entire stay at A’more. If you are looking for a private, peaceful and custom boutique hotel this is your place. Romantic getaway, or a place to self reflect and have a place to getaway for the hustle this is your place. The chef has an exquisite menu and caters to profession. I loved the entire staff as they go beyond expectations. The rooms are detailed, clean and have a beautiful view of the ocean. I am looking forward for my next visit. "

"Casa Vanora sits on a hill overlooking beautiful Bahia San Agustín. The hotel just opened in April 2024 and was only 4 months old when we stayed there. The drive there was a little intense and I would not recommend it if you don’t have experience driving in Mexico. Luckily, the hotel offers a pickup service from the airport in a brand new Toyota Hilux (Tacoma). Just know that I drove all the way there from Oaxaca City, so it’s definitely doable. The beach is roughly 5 minutes walking from the hotel. There are 2 different stairways leading down to the water. The snorkeling here was the best I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to Hawaii and the Caribbean. The restaurants on the beach are great too, especially Mar y Luz. The hotel has a great pool and a rooftop terrace with spectacular views of the bay. Heliomar is the manager there and he was so cool and attentive to our needs. He really went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. His sister is the cook and she’s super friendly and a darn good cook. They offer tasty meals and drinks for a very fair price. They will bring it to your room, but why do that, when you can enjoy it on the terrace? The room itself was great as well, we had a design suite and it was on the third floor in the corner. The views from our room were amazing. Impeccably clean room and you can really feel the amount of care that went into this place. The only concern for us was that they could use some blackout curtains. Overall, 5/5 "

"I was enamored with the location. Although we were initially taken aback by the lack of public transportation options beyond renting a car or taking a cab, the hotel itself was pristine, with reliable Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, due to its remote location, phone reception was nonexistent. However, what truly captured my heart were the people associated with the hotel—the friendly staff who treated us like family. From the welcoming receptionist Male, to the bar attendant Lalo and the housekeeper Dalia, and the great cooking from Tania, everyone contributed to an exceptional experience. The food was excellent, and the overall hospitality was outstanding. Another highlight was the proximity of the hotel to the bay, where the tranquil waters and numerous dining options made it an ideal spot. The locals were approachable and eager to assist, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. While we hadn’t anticipated the absence of air conditioning and hot water in the rooms, these minor inconveniences ultimately didn’t detract from our overall enjoyment."
