Cayo El Acuario was closed (we were there at the end of May 2018) -a lot of pollution and too much touching of the animals, I heard, so it's good that they closed it and that they try to educate visitors!-, but we were still taken by boat nearby and saw tens of manta rays swimming undisturbed!
Plus, every snorkelling session even around Rocky Cay may turn out to be the perfect or surprising encounter with one of these fascinating animals.
