"Our stay at The Grand Lotte Hotel Seoul was exceptional from check in to check out. Every step of the process was smooth, and every member of the staff we met was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Splurging on the Executive Tower with La Cime access was absolutely worth it. It covered breakfast, afternoon tea, and happy hour, which made it effectively breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was truly Michelin level, with beautifully prepared and presented dishes like king crab, lamb chops, and beef tenderloin, among so many other options. The quality and variety were remarkable, and we left every meal fully satisfied. The lounge sits on the 34th floor, so every meal comes with a stunning view overlooking the city, including Seoul Tower. We had a small issue with our room on our last night and the response was outstanding. From the housekeeping staff all the way up to the general manager, everyone was aware of it and addressed it immediately. The communication was excellent and the attention to detail was impressive. It is rare to see that level of ownership across an entire team. The location and views cannot be beat. The hotel sits above the Lotte Department Store, so luxury shopping is right at your doorstep, and street food and nightlife are only a five minute walk away. I would happily stay here again and would not hesitate to book the Executive Tower with La Cime access. Highly recommended!"

"Shilla Stay Samsung is a great place to stay for 1st timers to Seoul. It places you in an area that has multiple sites, restaurants, and transportation. The front desk staff were super courteous and accommodating. The Coex Mall is right across the street, the bus terminal is around the corner in walking distance. Everything I needed for a brief stay was conveniently in walking distance. The rooms are clean and has great amenities, the shower was the best part, had top of line the shower heads that made you want to stay in shower for days. I loved the full sized toiletries. They provided everything you need in the room. Only thing I regret not trying was their breakfast bar."

"Centrally located within Seoul in Myeongdong, but just outside (essentially one block removed) of all the action so it is much more quieter and a significant positive for me. Staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Highly recommend having the buffet at least once on your visit. Hotel is conveniently located next to the subway so it is extremely easy and accessible to get around every major neighborhood. It is also walking distance to Seoul Station, but I would recommend taking a cab/taxi/Uber for convenience as the area is generally within a major node for traffic."

"Room and hotel were very clean. Very lovely staff. Great location to public transit. Surrounded by construction, so a bit noisy and dirty. Bed is very comfortable and in room storage and appliances were great. Room 2015 - the door had issues locking all week. Elevators were slow."
