"Our 2nd visit after staying back in Feb 2020 and feel the same standards have been upheld (hard to do after covid too). Really nice hotel is nice quiet surroundings, 5 mins drive from the slopes & the free shuttle buses run back and forth all day so work out well. If you're heading into town in the evening there are always taxis outside and its a set 20 lev which was reasonable (some try it on when coming back so haggle with them). "A 4* hotel this is not. It's OK if you're just looking for a place to crash in Borovets but it's on the outskirts of town (10 min walk to town if you're not in ski boots). Has a sauna but no jacuzzi or steam room and the pool is not really big enough for swimming properly. Breakfast was average if you got there reasonably early but by 8am everything on the hot counters is cool and doesn't get replaced."

" Honestly, it's not the most modern hotel. There's no mini-fridge in the room, and the TV isn't the latest model. But the rooms are large and very spacious, clean, and the beds are comfortable. The staff was courteous, and the breakfast was reasonable. The price was attractive and, in my opinion, worth the money. For those who are intimidated by a luxurious hotel, this may not be the first choice, but for those who want a nice place on a reasonable budget, this is definitely a reasonable option."

"5 stars all around. Nick our property host was fantastic. The castle exceeded our expectations on size and value for money. Not to mention the jacuzzi that was almost as tall as me 🙄😅. The property was cleaned throughout, perfect temperatures and the company provided with plenty of information for surrounding areas and transportation as we had no car. Would 100% recommend. "You totally get what you pay for, its a budget, dated, and basic hotel. For us it was just a base and somewhere to sleep, which worked. Its unlikely i'll stay there again as would prefer a little more modern and luxury but compared to nearly hotels Rila £2600, Iglika £2500, Savakov £700 you get what you pay for so can't really complain. Breakfast was basic, but did the job, room was warm and clean, bowling and swimming was good, lots of space for the kids to run around in, bar and social...

"First time in Borovets and got an amazing price considering we were staying over February half-term on half-board basis. The price reflects that the hotel is dated but it was clean, comfortable and warm. It has what you need, comfy beds, hot showers, friendly staff and also a shuttle to the ski area (it is slightly out of town but can be walked). The location in the forest is lovely.
