"Apparently, there are two guest houses named 88 Guest House in the Seoul Jongno area. However, there is only one 88 Guest House with an attached cafe/coffe house. 88 Guest House is located near Gyeongbok-gung Palace. The rooms are small, but very very quiet which is a huge plus for me. The owner of 88 Guest House is a very friendly and very kind person. "This accommodation is traditional Korean lodging style with only a comforter (some has stains) as a bedding which is hard for those not used to hard sleeping surface. The floor is heated though. Air conditioning is available. The space is small for 4 people with luggages. The Korean breakfast is great and served at 8 am. The location is close to many restaurants (even Michelin rated) and walking distance to Gyeongbokdung palace and train stations. "

"If you want something 9f an authentic and hoospitable place to stay in Seoul, 5his is just that. The little rooms surrounding the Korean madang (patio) are really charming. They are clean and the breakfast isa lovely Korean soup and bibimbab servwd at 8:00am each day. Charming."
