Casa Verano is a two minute walk to the beach and steps from the restaurants and shops. Yet it is tucked away in a small lane that ends in a lush forest, making it private and quiet. Perfect blend of proximity and tranquility.

The 3 bedroom remodeled bungalow sleeps 6. To cool off you have your own private pool. There are several outdoor sitting areas where you can enjoy watching the birds and howler monkeys.

All rooms have new A/C's and ceiling fans. The property is completely gated.

The location:

Walk everywhere! This tropical oasis is a stone's throw from the main beach entrance, cafés, restaurants, shops and best surfing spots. Many of our guests don't feel the need to rent (or use) a car. We have a golf cart for rent too. Book early!

Casa Verano is a conversation between the ocean and the jungle, the traditional and modern. We invite you to be part of this unique home where each detail is a testament to the harmony between comfort, nature, and tradition.

Every effort was made to retain the bungalow's old world charm and character when it was remodeled a year ago. The soaring teak ceilings enhance the spaciousness of the living area and the oversized windows are constant reminders of being surrounded by nature. Upcycled furniture and fixtures align with our eco friendly vision and support for local craftsmanship.

A full kitchen, outdoor patio, private pool and elegant decor make Casa Verano the perfect vacation house for families, couples or a small group of friends.

5G Fiber optic cable, the fastest in Sàmara. Router connected to UPS battery back up for uninterrupted connection for remote work and digital nomads.

Single-level. One-step entrance in the front. No steps at the entrance in the back.

New A/C's and fans in every room.

Hot water on demand. Recently installed heater is useful when you want to relax after a long day and soak in the bathtub (a rarity in our part of the world).

Large water storage tank so you will always have water even when the town has intermittent shortages, which are common during dry season.

Eco friendly, natural garden. We avoid watering the garden and let nature take it's course. In the rainy season the garden becomes a min-jungle. In the dry season many of our plants retreat into the earth and wait for the rains to return.

30 minutes to Nosara and the world class surfing beaches of Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada and Playa Garza.

The two outdoor cameras on the property function only when the house is not hosting guests.

Maximum 6 people. No outside guests allowed on the property. This is a family friendly, non-smoking property and not at all suitable for parties and loud events

While Sàmara is our favorite beach we are also within 45 minutes of several other beaches that make for easy day trips. Nosara, Guiones, Carillo, Barigona, Garza, Pelada, Punta Islita, Buena Vista are just a few!

Perfect house, perfect location.

We’ve been eying Casa Verano since we stayed at the Logan nearby. We were happy to get a chance to stay there and were not disappointed. It’s a charming house…comfortable, homey, well-equipped and clean and the location is perfect. It’s nice when you have different ages and interests in your group to be able to come and go when you want to, without the need of a car. The beach, coffee shop, grocery stores, and restaurants are within a 5-10 minutes walk. The house is surrounded by trees and is gated making it very private and secure. It has a refreshing pool, garden and patio, where you can sit out with your drinks and watch the birds, monkeys and iguanas. The host Dipti as well as the property manager Isamar were lovely to deal with and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Some guests might be bothered by the noise of a few trucks coming into Samara in the morning, but in our estimation the convenient location made that a small concern. We would stay in this beautiful house again if we brought family back to Sámara.
