Lovely family-run guesthouse, with beautiful gardens and cozy vintage decor. We appreciated the huge library of books to borrow, well-stocked hot beverage station, and the friendly cat host, Steve. Walkable to Ganges, with lots of shops and restaurants to explore, and parking was good too.

This is a wonderful little place on Salt Spring. We had a very comfortable stay in the cottage. The main house is a few short steps away and always has coffee and tea available, as well as cookies in the afternoon, and of course there is also coffee and a kettle in the cottage. The main house gathering area is well-appointed, creative, cozy, and welcoming - a great place to read a book or do work. Town is a short walk away and the owners will tell you the shortcut for how to get there. There is plenty of parking. We loved watching the wildlife outside our windows - it was a relaxing weekend.

What a pleasant place to stay! Everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The location was ideal for reaching town, yet it also felt like a serene escape where we could unwind and savor our time on the Island. If you’re looking for a unique, peaceful place to experience Salt Spring Island, this is it. We would return in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely stay at Wisteria House! It’s a short walk or drive to the Ganges, and also provides a quiet location to relax. Our room and patio area were cute & clean, the common area has plenty of books, seating, and activities, coffee, tea, and cookies, and visits from Steve, the sweet and adorable property cat. Our hosts and staff were kind and responsive if we needed anything, it’s obvious they care about the confort of their guests. We would definitely stay again and we highly recommend!

This property is surrounded by beautiful flowers and greenery. The home is large. The rooms are a good size as is the bathroom. The common area is so welcoming and zenful. The best part Steve the resident cat loves everyone. The tea coffee area in common room is well stocked. Endless books to read and art on the walls to admire. It’s very bright with decor and lots of room to share. Len was very helpful at recommended places to see and things to do and marked it out on a map. Very well thought out and organized. I loved that there are no tv’s. Highly recommended this well kept clean friendly place for adults.
