"Amazing...a 3 star that is 5 star for nature lovers! Log cabins with kitchen and comfortable beds, real fire places with ample free dry wood topped up daily, view of the lake. 2 hot tubs and sauna, free access to plenty of canoes, kayaks and paddle boards any time you want, small but good size quiet lake with fish to catch, multiple docks with chairs and other access to swim. Eagles, deer etc all around. Suoer attentive and friendly staff on site. Office has tons of games and puzzles to use. Easy drive to town or around this great island - paved main roads right to resort. My wife and i were blown away by this place!! Only recommend for property is to ditch the old brick "bbq" area (at minimum replace rusty grills) and provide actual bbqs :) "

"A beautiful, secluded place to stay and relax. Walking around the property is interesting, with a mix of forest, flowering trees and plants and vegetable gardens. Views of Ganges bay from the Manor House area are spectacular. Warm muffins are delivered to the room around 7:30 a.m. Then a wonderful made to order breakfast in the Manor House, overlooking the water. Dinner at the restaurant was outstanding. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The only disappointment was that the hotel was aware that we were there to celebrate my wife's birthday and she never received any special recognition. Membership in Relais & Châteaux well deserved."

"Blissful stay at a well maintained gem. Self checked in but lots of notes and guidance; from my name on the door of my room to an envelope full of information to get me settled as well as a contact number if I needed anything. Beautiful Adirondack chairs on the grass outside my room overlooked the water. Sounds of birds and sheep and goats in the distance. Exquisite breakfasts, artfully plated and brought out by friendly hosts. I’d return in a heartbeat. "
