"I recently stayed at Locanda Del Benaco for a girls weekend away, well couldn’t have asked for a better location with views overlooking Lake Garda. "A very comfortable quiet and relaxed hotel ( originally an old convent) overlooking Salo and Lake Garda. The staff at the hotel are superb - the reception staff in particular are some of the best anywhere. The views from the garden and terrace across the lake to the mountains are beautiful. "The hotel is a lovely location within short walk from downtown and to the beautiful walkway along the lake. The room and bathroom were modern and spotless. Breakfast was adequate. "Staff were good, friendly and attentive. The hotel had bicycles which we used to bike around the lake, a good plus for us. The evening meal at the restaurant was really good - well worth doing. Breakfast was good also."
