"Clean and nice but a bit noisy outside my room a boiler or something"

"Staff were really friendly and helpful even when they brought me a meal I didn’t order. There were signs saying they had a major refurbish. Not in the room I was given they hadn’t. Room 708 carpet was filthy the surfaces were peeling off the furniture. The shower door is broken. I had two tv’s but no remote control. There is a kitchen area but I couldn’t use anything and wash it up cos there were no tea towels. I admit I didn’t complain but that’s cos I was there for one night. If it had been more I would have said something. Definitely NOT worth the money they charge for the room."

"Large light airy house with plenty of space to sit and chat. Large dining table was great. Kitchen had everything we needed. Two of the beds were great. Owners instructions were clear. We had a great stay at this property "

"We had problems finding the property - the phone satnav directed us to Ballynahinch Water Treatment Works, but the host responded quickly to our email by phone, and gave us better directions. She left a light on at the property, and the key in the door.Gardeners Cottage exudes charm and character...and will be lovely in the summer. The underfloor heating is insufficient. Upon arrival, the overpowering smell of bleach was hard to stand. The place was cold and damp, and the plug in radiator had made little impression. Sadly, there was mould on the walls, in the bathroom and kitchen cupboards. Cobwebs and dirt were in evidence. Maintenance is required to replace the broken skylight, repaint the windows and see to the electrics. What was obviously set up as a pleasant space requires some TLC. The cold tap in the bathroom is not attached to the sink. The kettle leaked through the switch, so we used the microwave to heat water for drinks. The WiFi was paused before 10pm, which made research online difficult. There was no welcome pack, and no interaction with the hosts. Another easy chair would be good in the bedroom. The supermarket in Saintfield was wonderful."

Much love and work has gone into making this place so pleasant. Richard and Rosemary were amazing hosts. From being there to greet us (with fresh baked bread), answering any questions and providing recommendations for our visit, they truly did everything to make our visit wonderful and memorable. "

"We had a great time at the stable! The property was beautiful, clean and close to Belfast. Robena was an amazing and thoughtful hostess. She also communicated well throughout the process-from initial booking, to a week before and then about the check in process. She made us homemade goodies and left other treats for us, something we appreciated as we had not had dinner yet when we checked in! We would totally recommend this property as well as Robena being an amazing hostess!! Would definitely stay again if we were in the area again. "
