"Had a wonderful week long stay in the house. Not only is it set up with all you expect from a home, but the design is exquisite and the neighborhood quiet with a local feel. No problem finding a place to park on the street. I explored the region looking for a house to buy and Lormont is a great location to reach the sea towards Andernos or Libourne and Saint Emilion without facing much traffic. "The Villa is beautiful and in a perfect location. The Villa however does require updating and some maintenance work. We did not realise the Villa does not supply any bedding or towels, so this had to be flown in and others by car which was frustrating. It would be nice if the Villa can recommend local shops, eateries and places of interest as nothing is supplied or recommended. WiFi took a few days to be sorted and both patio and pool furniture is in need a of change. Overall, lovely Villa."

"The gite was lovely and a lot bigger than we expected, but there were only 4 of us who visited. The gite had everything we needed, and the view was lovely - across the road was a vineyard, but the gite is on a road where, although cars are few and far between, they do drive far too fast. We had a lovely few days at the beginning of our holiday but on the fourth day a taxi drove into us at speed (not near the gite, on the way to Jonzac) and the hire car we were in was flipped over and ended up...

"We had a great stay at this location. Hosts were very good to work with and the place was wonderful. Tons of space and very well equipped. They helped us with finding restaurants as well as wineries to visit. The town of version isn’t much but lots of stuff close by including Blay which was very interesting. 45 minutes drive to Bordeaux which is a great city to visit. We would come again for sure."

"The one lady on reception was really helpful and could speak English. The others on reception were not helpful and could not speak English. The property needs a good clean and needs a good paint. The Continental Breakfast included in my rate was great value for money. The rooms are not cleaned/serviced daily. The free toiletries was body wash only in the bathroom. You have to ask for extra towels and for loo paper if needed. There was sufficient parking."

"We stayed for a night. The exterior looks a bit rundown but the apartments are great. Everything works, it’s well equipped and clean. There’s also an elevator which is a major plus. Daily continental breakfast for 11 euros - honestly it’s too expensive for what they serve. You have to bring down your trash upon check out and clean the kitchen if you used it. Overall a nice stay."
