This peaceful home, nestled among the vineyards, offers a relaxing stay just minutes from the Vauban Citadel of Blaye, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Rated 3 stars and certified Vignobles & Découvertes and Accueil Vélo, it’s perfect for 6 guests, with the possibility to accommodate up to 8 in dorm-style setup.
The house features a bright living area with an open kitchen (oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, kettle), a fireplace, a sofa bed for two, and a round table for six. There is a separate toilet nearby. On the ground floor, a bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, and desk connects to a bathroom with walk-in shower, double sink, washing machine, dryer, towel warmer, iron, and hairdryer. Upstairs, a mezzanine offers one double bed, two single beds, a dresser, table, wardrobe, and a bathroom with toilet, sink, wooden bathtub, and towel warmer.
Outside, enjoy a barbecue, picnic table, two sun loungers, two parasols, and a storage shed. A small round table and two chairs at the front make a great spot for morning coffee. An outdoor outlet is available for electric vehicle charging (standard plug, 10-meter cable not provided).
This stay is especially suitable for cyclists, with a breakfast option available upon request. Guests are expected to leave the house clean; otherwise, a cleaning fee will apply.
To find the house, enter “Chai Crann Piorra” in your GPS. Without GPS, simply follow the signs from the village church. The property is located at the end of a gravel path.
Before booking, please make sure you’re on the correct side of the estuary based on your travel plans. We are on the right bank, with direct access to major highways. Outside of ferry operating hours, crossing to the other side requires a detour via Bordeaux.
