"Pros Excellent water pressure in the shower. Staff were efficient and professional. They handled everything promptly. The location is a major plus, with easy access to the waterfront and downtown Toronto. Cons The room itself needs improvement. The mattress was uneven, with a noticeable “sinkhole” in the middle that made for an uncomfortable sleep. Temperature control was inconsistent. We were either too cold with the system on or uncomfortably hot with it off, with no middle ground. Soundproofing was extremely poor. We could clearly hear full conversations from the next room, including a detailed discussion about a cheating spouse and demands for them to move out. This wasn’t just muffled noise, it was clear enough to follow word-for-word, along with hallway conversations, which made it difficult to relax or sleep. Furniture felt outdated, and some pieces didn’t function properly (e.g., drawers that wouldn’t close). Parking is paid and accessed through Scotia Square, which was difficult to find and unnecessarily complicated on arrival. Overall Fine for a quick overnight or business trip, but not ideal for a longer stay due to noise, comfort, and room condition issues."

"The room was fantastic however there was MAJOR construction happening. They are building a large high rise right across the street and the noise was EXTREMLY loud. Jack hammers and banging starting at 6:00AM everyday...including Saturday and Sunday."

"we drove in from Montreal and arrived almost closer to midnight. The room that I thought I booked was big and had a bath, and however, it was up of flights upstairs, and we just were too tired and could not carry our baggage of the stairs therefore we ask for a ground for a room. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind welcoming and changed our room to our ground floor, however the room was extremely small dark. We couldn’t open the curtains because people would see into the room and the refrigerator made loud noises all night. There was rust on the shower door and the shower was extremely small. I could barely fit in it. When we asked to change rooms the next day, we were told no. The location is amazing great street with lots of nice cafés and close to downtown but they do need to fix up the place, especially that room."
