The host did give us access to the apartment more than an hour before scheduled check in time, but wasn't available when we called to be buzzed in. "This property is fantastic! The pictures are identical to what you should expect. The front door to the building is locked so you don’t need to panic about that just go to the lock box which is to your right punch in your number and there’s your key… our Uber from the train station Dropped us off at the end of the alley where the apartment is so you do have to drag your suitcases for about two minutes or so. Please do the self-guided walking tour. It is a fun interactive way to see Vieux Tours....

"The studio and Amboise were a great hub for exploring chateaus and wineries in the Loire valley. Situated across the river from town, a step outside the studio offers stunning views--especially at night. Our gracious hosts were there to warmly welcome us and provide insights on local attractions. A butcher and bakery are conveniently located across the street and are well worth a visit. The Tabac down the street serves cappuccinos, so breakfast was complete. We don’t speak any French aside...

"Claude was the perfect host, meeting us at the apartment and helping us find our reserved parking spot. He provided us with a helpful map and answered our questions. He also had a lovely bottle of bubbly waiting for us! The apartment itself was well-appointed, spacious, and close to the historic center of Amboise. We could even see the castle from our window! We had a wonderful stay and it was a pleasure meeting Claude."

No AC, No Hairdryer, Shower head has to be held to be used, Dirty floors with circular burns in carpet, no toiletries or towels, no AC in fitness center, very sketchy area, dirty refrigerator, no coffee, very late checkin and very early checkout.
