"We didn’t see the rooms shown on the hotels photo library. The rooms we stayed in (3 guests) were old, decrepit and not reflective of what we thought we were paying for. The bathrooms were horrendous, the curtains were a game of perfect lining up to stop the sun coming in and their were splats of blood on the walls in multiple rooms."

"We stayed here twice, mainly because of the very walkable location, close to a lot of restaurants, historic sights and the pedestrian-only part of Vitosha Boulevard. The rooms are clean, quiet, the beds are comfortable and the staff are helpful. The restaurant offers a reasonable breakfast selection. The floral mosaic walls are beautiful. However, the rooms are designed for style rather than convenience. One of the rooms had a glass wall between the bedroom and bathroom, offering no privacy except for a half-wall screening the toilet and bidet. The showers leaked onto the tiled floor. The lights go off momentarily from time to time, and one of the lights is turned on by a motion sensor which woke us up when it came on randomly while we were trying to sleep. There is no night-light to facilitate navigation to the bathroom at night, and the furniture layout is such that there is little space to pass by certain corners without tripping."

"A bit of a walk to main tourist pedestrian zone. but not bad. I had to wait 5 hours for my room because I arrived very early. but the staff accommodated me, to choose a room I preferred. Most of the staff was helpful. as was the manager. Room had phone. refrigerator and good English TV selection including CNN"

"Staff very helpful, hotel very chic and still new looking , nice art and attached art store. Breakfast staff works hard to put out a nice variety of hot and cold items and beverages. Felt very safe and welcoming "

"Mildew and mold smell. Carpets are dirty and stained Location is the best but the rest is no good I would not recommend to anyone"
