"Bernard was very accommodating and provided a very clean and well equipped house to stay in. The downside was that the outside area felt like a building site. There was a half finished pond and decking area. The area around the pool is unfinished concrete as well. It is within walking distance to Santaney, but does mean it is on the main road. These things were tricky with young children and not clear on the listing."

"We absolutely loved our stay in Burgundy. The property is beautiful, the views gorgeous and local produce at butcher/baker was delicious. We cooked at home each night and sat on the wonderful balcony. The pool was also a lot of fun - swim with a view! Our only negative is to bring everything you need. We had to buy washing powder, dishwasher powder, garbage bags etc as nothing was provided."

"We had an absolutely fabulous holiday in this rural, beautiful and peaceful area. Close to nature but also close to tourist spots eg Cluny, Macon, Taize. The property was ideal for our family group which included grandparents. The pool and accommodation were fantastic. "To be frank, we were initially concerned that the gite might be too small but found this was absolutely not the case. There was ample room, the kitchen was completely furnished with everything one would need and more and the bed and furnishings were good. Bruno and Brigitte were the absolute perfects hosts and did much to make our stay enjoyable. We highly recommend this gite and hope we will be able to return in the future."

"The house is a very impressive conversion of a barn and farmhouse. The height of the central area does mean that there is an inevitable lack of natural light at either end however. The kitchen, with lights on, is excellent and very well equipped but the TV area is rather gloomy, at least in September. The plan of the house provided by Bruce clearly shows all the little flights of stairs but they do make getting around a bit complicated. For example, anyone using the third bedroom would have to...
