"Hotel and staff were welcoming. Bright fresh reception. Room was as expected, but ensuite was better than usual premier classe hotels we have stayed in. Breakfast was basic but plentiful. Area around hotel was quiet. Eating places within walking distance."

There are a number of eateries and even a cinema just around the corner from the hotel and it's only a couple of minutes walk from the train station. "It is a motel. It is cheap. It is not in a convenient location - apart from being only 15 minutes from Caen ferry port. Make sure to bring your own food and drink. The facilities are lacking. (Though the paddel club across the road serves pizza until 19:00) OK for the price compared to hotels nearby. Not the cleanest, not the worst. Won't stay again unless absolutely necessary."
