"Room with box bathroom in corner smelled damp, probably because regulation extraction fan in was not working and probably never had as string tied up as when fitted. The bed had a 6 cm foam mattress on a solid wood box base so very uncomfortable to sit on never mind sleep on, but still appeared to sag in middle. No reception, 2 flights of stairs and main door left open, so less than secure. Unsafe and unhealthy."

And, despite being so close to everything it was very quiet. The kitcehn is well equipped so you can also prepare your own food. Check-in is easy as there is a lock box in case the owner Jean-Michel is not there to welcome you. Everything is clearly explained, so you can do self-serve check-in. In our case...
