"The house was very modern and new. The room arrangements were good for our group. One bedroom en-suite was on the ground floor which was nice. The house is outside the bustle of Caen but an easy drive to get there. Plus, grocery stores and restaurants were just a few minutes away. Because the area is new there was a lot of road construction with new roads not showing accurately on our GPS. As a result, we had a hard time finding our way in and out of the area during our stay. "A beautiful, spacious house in a secluded, peaceful setting. The property was spotlessly clean and equipped to a very high standard. The host was friendly, welcoming and proactive before and during our stay. The location is wonderfully quiet, but remains within easy reach of the towns and sights of the area. Hôtel Le St Patrice

10/10 Excellent

"A beautiful and clean hotel in a fabulous location! There was lots of street parking nearby and a large car park about a block away. There was a good grocery store a short walk and the weekly market is steps away. This made it easy to shop and cook in the well appointed kitchenette. The bed was comfortable and lots of towels were provided. The only issue with comfort for us during a "heatwave" was no airconditioning. A fan was provided, and a good cross breeze could be achieved by opening the windows. The lack of AC was more of an issue because we were traveling with a baby. The location was wonderful and the room was clean and in a beautifully restored old building with lots of character. We will definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if in the city."
