"Beautiful old home from the 14th century. The house has a stunning view of the Pope's Palace across the river. The gardens are delightful and the breakfast that was provided was wonderful. The host was very kind and gracious and parking in their fenced in lot across from the house was a tight fit but available. The house is easily walkable to the center of town, were there are lots of dinning opportunities. I highly recomend this location if you like beautiful historic properties. "

We stay in late July, there are a lot of mosquitoes around pool so I recommend to have mosquitoes spray handy. May be because due to the covid, dinner at the B&B was not available. Either we go to a restaurant or get something at the supermarket. We were tired from the long drive so we just bought some things at the supermarket and ate at the terrace with a bottle of local wine. I...

"Avignon is a fantastic place to visit, and I am glad I was able to take my wife there to see it (I had visited it before, 40 years ago). La Banasterie was beautiful, clean, comfortable, safe and literally steps away from the major sites in Avignon. The owners were extremely helpful, even helping me figure out how to retrieve and item I left on the train. If we ever visit again, I would not hesitate to stay in this same location."
