Another comfortable stay at the Look Out. Really welcoming and attentive staff, clean well-equipped rooms and an excellent breakfast. Some areas of the hotel are tired (e.g. stair carpets), but overall would thoroughly recommend.
We had a really lovely stay - the room was spacious, really nicely designed, fresh muted colours, with stylish details (and lots of plug sockets!), very comfortable bed, an excellent shower room, peaceful spot with lovely view, yet easy to walk into town, great staff, felt very festive and cheerful decorated for the season. parking easy to get at too and very central.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
The rooms were lovely, clean and warm. The staff were friendly and helpful but it was not disable friendly, The stairs from the carpark to the hotel was too many and my mum struggled with them. The car park was also £10.30 and not 24 hours which meant you paid 3 times for 2 nights.
We were allowed early check in as rooms ready without any hassle, and great breakfast service. Alex was great at reception and also in the breakfast area-thank you.
Healthy options, staff pleasant and room very comfortable and welcoming

We stayed here for one night for our 15th wedding anniversary. We were given the deluxe suite at the top. It had the most incredible views.
Very spacious, the most comfortable bed.
Staff very welcoming and helpful. Fabulous cooked breakfast in the morning.
Quirky little find . Loved it .
Breakfast menu was good although a fairly limited cooked menu. Great coffee.
Happy hour in the bar with cheese and biscuits was great and the barman very friendly.
The male receptionist/waiter at breakfast was also friendly and helpful.
We had a small double room - certainly cozy! Had everything we needed.
Beautiful old building decorated very stylishly.
This was our second stay at this hotel and we have really enjoyed it. Our rooms in both occasions have been spotless, cosy and welcoming. The staff are lovely and attentive and Abbi was especially helpful, It was bonfire night and extremely busy but she handled it all very well, with non resident guests trying to come into the hotel. There was also cheese and biscuits put out for guests, which was a really nice touch. Breakfast was good and aplenty, we will definitely be back.
