"The hotel is in an excellent location equidistant between the bars and shopping centre such as O'Nells, Yates, etc and the bars and restaurants the other end on Oxford Street-that road is very vibrant and well worth a visit."

"This is a really nice hotel. It is retro in some good ways, with a very friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is superior. The location can't be beat. The only irritant is the Wi-Fi, which is spotty on the ground floor and almost non-existent in the upper rooms."

"Place is pretty basic and room is quite small but for the price can't complain. We only needed two nights stay in Southampton before a cruise trip and didn't need anything luxury. This place fit the bill and is super close to the cruise terminal and national express bus station."
