Stunning views, period town house, central Dartmouth close to river, quiet road.

"We were a group of 6 adults and had a wonderful stay at Andrew's property. Excellent communication from the host prior to our arrival. The house is located only a short walk away from the centre along a relatively flat (for Dartmouth!) road, although it is quite narrow with no on site parking. We dropped our bags off at the property then drove around to find a permit free parking space (suggestions of where to go received from Andrew beforehand) which took around 20 minutes. Parking is a problem in Dartmouth generally, especially in the summer, so we would have had this issue no matter where we stayed. The property was perfect for our needs - very clean with 3 generous sized bedrooms and superb views from the lounge and top bedroom. The owners have decorated the house, especially the the kitchen and main bathroom to a very high standard which made our stay very comfortable. We only stayed for 2 nights to watch the Shakespeare play performance at the castle but we can highly recommend this property and will definitely stay again if we return to Dartmouth."

"Highly recommend staying here! The staff were incredibly friendly, the breakfast every morning was delicious, and the owner, Mike, was so welcoming. The location is excellent! Just a short walk to the harbour and the ferry to Kingswear, making it the perfect base for exploring the area."

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It’s in a beautiful location with stunning views. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The only downside was that our room was very hot. Although two fans were provided, it was still difficult to sleep comfortably. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return."

"I stayed in Dart Lookout for 8 days and it really is a sanctuary and a place to relax and watch the world go by. Birds, cruise ships, staff from the hotel below, next door’s dog - I watched and enjoyed them all from the window seat of dreams that is the best part of this house. The big bed follows in close second - super comfortable with lovely bedding. Open the curtains in the morning and watch the sun come up over the water. Perfect! The bathroom, downstairs loo and kitchen could do with a serious revamp but I just took them for what they are and made the positives outweigh any negatives. The fridge broke on my second day but the response was immediate and a new fridge was installed and working within 5 hours - that must be a record! Thank you so much, Paul! Be prepared for lots of steps up from the garage (48), but think of the cardio benefit and the arrival is more than worth the effort. I loved it! Thank you!"

"The property was in a great location for the town centre. The road is very narrow so be mindful of what size car you have, but we were fine. Only enough parking for one car, so had to park in the park and ride for the other car, but that was easy enough. House is fully equipped, very clean and comfortable and would definitely recommend."
