"Need to recharge? This IS the place. Clean rooms, very comfortable beds and pillows. The view? I think 1 million is an understatement. The view is all you would ever want or imagine from a mountaintop getaway and then some. Beautiful view from bedrooms, screened deck, hot tub and fire pit area. Host was amazing in communication and extremely helpful. We will absolutely be coming back. Do keep in mind that like all places with these views it is a trek up the driveway but when you get there and exhale it is so worth it. "

"The house was spotless at check in. Garrett communicated often & provided a great check in, map & check out file. The house was perfect for our large family (mom/dad) 3 adult children, spouses & granddaughter. The porches are oerfect for gathering & the house is heavily stocked with kitchen items; fridge & freezer space. Beds are comfortable & lines provided are quality! Great fire pit area for smores! The lake was extremely low (mother nature for you) and the trek to the dock & back to house is not for people with heart conditions or in poor health. We managed a trip a day & that was enough for us. Home is very well maintained & we were more than happy with it. Area is very remote & I'm glad we took all food items with us! Late fall is beautiful in nc mountains & we just missed peak leaf season. The weather could not have been more perfect for our weekend. It forced us to slow down for a few days & enjoy time with family. "

"The house and property were beautiful and quiet. The house was perfect for the 4 of us. Chickens roamed the yard every morning. The covered front porch was great when it rained. The owners set the house up with everything you need. The property is only a 10-15 minute drive to grocery, restaurants, and any kind of shopping you may need. Cell service was really pretty good as well! We will definitely return!!"
