"The property is fascinating in its Historic value. Beautiful with wonderful porches. It runs at a slower pace. Staff was nice but not always available. Heat was good for older place. Breakfast was good but not served until 8:00 and then not always on time. Folks were very friendly. The tub in room we were in had shower curtains around it- every shower your body was constantly touching the curtains."

"Mediocre breakfast. No prepared hot items. No selection of fresh fruit except for a few small tasteless apples."

"Good stay for the price."

"Breakfast was disappointing. A muffin and some French toast with sweet sauce. Property was great. Beautiful place and rooms were very nice"

"Elevator was out of order the entire 3 days of my stay. I have stayed here numerous times over the last several years. Breakfast not as good as the past. This was WCU homecoming weekend so hotel was full. Parking was premium if you were returning late in evening. Some folks had to park in grass area behind hotel due to no parking spaces available."

"Beautiful setting. Very friendly and helpful staff. Autumn went out of her way to help us. Can't wait to come back!"

"Owners were very friendly and involved. Because this is a family-owned, small business you don’t have everything that the large chains have. But, that’s OK. Cute lodge. We enjoyed it."

"Everything about this place was perfect!!"

"Lovely cabin with a very comfortable bed. A little tricky to find at first. WiFi was great. No cell service. Clean and neat with a warm and homey feel. Good communication. I would recommend this properly. "
