"Enjoyed my stay only issue I had was on returning to hotel late one night there was a man sat on sofa which asked me as I walked in what my room number was, I said I ain’t telling you my room number. Entered the lift then the receptionist opened lift and told me to come to reception so they can check my booking. I am assuming the man on sofa may have been security but he didn’t say who he was just what’s your room number. I told them I didn’t want to give my room number to a random man sat on sofa as I am a woman staying alone"

"Room was clean and comfortable,no air conditioning but fans available on request. Staff were very friendly and helpful giving good advice when asked. Food in the bar was really good,the gammon was cooked just right and served with 2 eggs and chips,hubby had lambs liver and bacon beautifully served and tasted really good. Dessert was a cheesecake and cheese board,the board was a good portion and variety. Breakfast was also really nice,good choice of items without being overwhelming. Will definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends."

"Lovely quiet location overlooking pedestrianised New Walk and very central, close to town and university. Very efficient and helpful staff. Room very comfortable and well appointed and whole building well adapted from original row of 19th century houses. Good onsite parking too. Looking forward to next stay."

"Clean, friendly hotel. Breakfast was as advertised and our room was perfect for our needs. Easy to find and free, plentiful parking. Mainly seems to cater for business clientele and does its job well for a very reasonable price."

"Had a great stay, the room was nice and clean and comfortable. The pool and spa area were very nice. I wasn’t aware until after I had booked the use of the pool was an extra charge. Also parking wasn’t free which was also not expected. Overall would stay again but would have to factor in the extra costs"

"I couldn't tell you about the rest of the rooms in the hotel but I had advised the hotel before hand that I had mobility issues and they had put me in an accessible room that was ideal for my needs The door opened onto the car park where I managed to park every night except Saturday when I was later returning, that night I had to park on the road, I am sure if I had returned earlier that I would have got a spot, my choice to stay out late The staff were very helpful, just let them know if you need anything and they will help if they can, I would stay in this room again if I was in the area."
