You'll be very happy with this clean, elegant home as your vacation headquarters.The property is located about a mile from the fantastic restaurants and shops that make Grand Haven such a fun destination.Throw in the nicest folks you could hope to meet and you are sure to have a great vacation."

"Overall we had a very nice & relaxing beach vacation that was very much needed. The absolute best part was the private beach access so if that is the reason you are booking, then go for it. The house itself was OK. It's a bit dated but it suited our needs. We didn't spend too much time in the house between going to the beach & downtown. Some things to consider if you are traveling with elders, small children, or handicapped persons: there is no other way but up 25 stairs to get to the front door (a bit less if going in through the back patio), there is also about 50 stairs to get down to the beach, the shower is extremely small (I am 5'2" & struggled to maneuver). A few other points to note, the trundle bed was not able to fully come out without moving a dresser & that mattress is pretty bad in terms of comfort, the metal frames on the beds are flimsy & make noise whenever anyone moves. Some positives: there is covered parking for 2 vehicles, the kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware, the communication with the host was excellent, access to grocery stores was very convenient, the neighborhood is tranquil, & as mentioned earlier, the private beach access is what made our vacation great."

Host was very responsive - very easy to reachIt is about 75 steps up to the cottage with a a bit of a boardwalk walk between the stepsThe half bath and laundry or in the lower level and this can only be reached by a separate entrance.The upstairs is a bit rustic and the bunk bed room best for childrenKitchen well stocked and the sunroom was lovely."
