"Park Lane is fabulous for an extended stay in NYC. I recommend a studio suite on the 30th floor, #3000. Majestic and panoramic views of Central Park. Staff keep your room immaculately clean. Location is ideal for walks in Central Park. Visit Strawberry Fields on Sunday for Beatles/John Lennon's live music performances by excellent musicians. "Very clean, nice renovated rooms, cool location. However —Big negative is that restaurant reception is super unhelpful, you never get a table and they do always ask to wait one hour…. All this despite being regular having stayed 50x there - especially on weekends with family super unhelpful and rude… even when place is empty they do not let you in… in sum the hotel should urgently fix this as not top hotel style."
