"Plenty of space in room for 4, beds were comfortable and quiet part of the town. Parking was relatively easy, with spots available outside, although the road was relatively busy so we minutes walk away in a large car park. Very handy for the zoo, and easy walk into the bars and restaurants of the lovely town. "

"We can fully recommend Charnay Plaisance! The main house is beautiful (some renovation work is ongoing but is unobtrusive); our room was very comfortable; breakfast was very good; the swimming pool was fantastic and the welcome we received (from reception staff and from the owner and his wife) was very warm and friendly. We will return!"

"The property itself was absolutely beautiful, tranquil and relaxing - it was a great place to be for our honeymoon, very romantic. The sounds of nature are everywhere and there’s and easy path to wander to the edge of the property if you want to take a stroll. It was also beautifully furnished and we loved hearing about the family history.
