"A great, cute and quiet retreat, which I regrettably only stayed in for one night, as I enjoyed eating my takeaway pizza (rock'n'roll) sat out as the sun set and listening to the wildlife. Would definitely return if I'm in the area again, recommend."

"Absolutely lovely B & B! John and Pablo made us feel so welcome and also offered us a welcome drink in the garden. They cooked us a very tasty English breakfast, gave us a delicious fresh fruit salad and as much tea, coffee and toast as we wanted. The house is beautiful and our room was clean, spacious, comfortable and overlooked the beautiful garden. We would happily stay here again."

"this hotel is a little surprise. Doesn’t look much from the outside and not helped by being next to a disused building. However, once you enter it is a very different experience. The hotel is lovely, well maintained and the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. We had a family room which was very good, though could do with some better quality bed linen. However, it wasn’t bad at all and we had a pleasant nights sleep. Although we didn’t use it, the bar looked amazing and breakfast in the morning was lovely. Not 5* but given how much this hotel is, it far exceeds expectations. If in Newark and you need a hotel, don’t give it a second thought and book. "
