The room has cool facilities and the bar and lobby very cool - I had one problem as my room was outside a corridor door I heard it slamming throughout the night as guests walked past, also the walls were thin and I had a neighbour who I heard snore all night which kept me awake. "

"Conveniently located opposite Derby Railway Station, the Aston Court was perfect for an overnight stay en route from London to Sheffield for a weekend with friends. The only minor niggle I had was the lack of air conditioning, which is likely to be an issue during warmer weather, but for the price I paid compared to other hotels in Derby that was a fair trade-off. The staff I dealt with were all friendly and professional and I'd definitely stay at the hotel again. Sadly I didn't get a chance to have breakfast at the hotel, so I'm unable to comment on that. "

"Anything you read about the property being a bit dated... It is indeed true. But honestly, the place is perfectly fine! The beds were comfy, the place is clean, the staff are absolutely lovely. If I paid more I would expect more, but the price is good value I think! Especially given the small spa facilities. "
