It is definitely very old (although the bathroom was updated nicely) and had a window unit air conditioner that was on the loud side and made the lights dim on and off while it was running. The A/C was off when we got there and after a 14 hour drive it wasn’t that pleasant walking into a stuffy room but it did cool down nicely after about an hour. "We had a friends’ getaway long weekend here and loved it. The property is beautiful and we loved sitting outside by the pool with coffee and listening to the birds sing. The house is roomy and very homey and the beds were soooo comfortable. The location is perfect—-less than a ten minute drive to downtown New Hope with all its shops, restaurants, etc.., but the wooded property is private and quiet and definitely feels like you’re away from it all.
